Why can't I sign into my HBO Go account

HBO GO and HBO Now is new HBO streaming services that let you stream all the HBO you can handle whenever and wherever you want your HBO. So you can enjoy Game of Thrones while keeping up real-time with Bill Maher’s latest acerbic takedowns from almost anywhere.

Presently, if you don’t have a subscription to HBO through your cable provider and aren’t interested in investing in one, then an HBO NOW subscription is for you. For $14.99 a month, you can binge-watch HBO content regardless of scheduled broadcast times via your TV, mobile device, or pc.

When you’re all set to spend the evening eating popcorn and watching up on your favorite HBO shows, the last thing you want to see is this error message:

Why can't I sign into my HBO Go account?

You sign in to HBO GO through the username and password for your TV provider account. If you can't remember or do not know your sign-in information, contact your TV provider. You can also change or reset your username or password via your TV provider's website as well as a customer support center.

Unable to log in to HBO GO using Android app

1.                   Open Android application manager and Force Stop the HBOGO application followed by Clear Cache and Clear Data.

2.                   Then open Chrome - Go to settings -> privacy -> clear browsing data for "all-time"

3.                   Then instantly opened the HBOGO app and went to Sign In and then the Verizon login page appeared and was able to sign on and things are HBO go not working for me.

Activate your device

1.                   From the TV screen, choose 'Apps' and then select 'HBO GO.'

2.                   Choose 'Activate Your Device' to view activation instructions

3.                   On a pc or mobile device, go to hbogo.com/activate, and follow the directions to enter the authorization code that appeared on your TV.

Note: If your cable operator is not listed during the hbogo.com/activate process, you'll not be able to access HBO GO. Please call your cable provider for availability details.
