How do I redeem my Netflix gift subscription?

Steps to create a Netflix account for someone else

You can make a Netflix account for someone else through the Netflix website. If you are already signed in, sign out of your Netflix account, then choose Join Free for a Month or Watch Free For 30 Days to sign up as a new member. Free trial availability and period may differ by region. Only 1 free trial may be redeemed per household.

To create a new account:

1.       After choosing Join Free for a Month or Watch Free for 30 Days on Netflix.com, enter the email address of the person you're creating the account for.

2.       Choose a password for the account.

3.       Select your preferred method of payment, and then enter your billing details to start the new account.

What happens when my gift subscription ends?

If you don't have another payment method on your account, your membership will automatically end at the end of your gift subscription. If you have added payment info to your Netflix account during your gift subscription, your account will remain open and they will bill you once per month until you cancel your account.
