Buffering, poor video quality, freezing videos, connection
errors and skipping are common Hulu issues. They all can have a variety of
reasons.
Low or Poor Quality WI-FI Signal (Fire TV Stick)
Your Fire TV Stick is connected to Wi-Fi, but the signal
strength is low or poor quality.
1.
Be sure that your Fire TV device is connected to
its power supply.
2.
Use the included HDMI extender or adapter to
position your Fire TV device away from the rear of your Television, which may
be reducing Wi-Fi signal strength.
3.
Try moving your Wi-Fi router/modem near to your
TV.
4.
Try changing your Wi-Fi channel to the
recommended setting if prompted.
5.
Connect your Fire TV Stick to your modem/router
with an Ethernet cable if you've got the extra Ethernet adapter.
Note: Fire TV Stick (2nd Generation) requires an Amazon
Ethernet Adapter for Amazon Fire TV Devices (sold separately) to connect to an
Ethernet cable.
Low or Poor
Quality WI-FI Signal (Amazon Fire TV)
Your Amazon Fire TV is connected to Wi-Fi, but the signal
strength is low or poor quality.
1.
Firstly, connect your Amazon Fire TV to
modem/router with an Ethernet cable.
Note: Fire TV (3rd Generation), and Fire TV Stick 4K need an
Amazon Ethernet Adapter for Amazon Fire TV Devices (sold separately) to connect
to an Ethernet cable. You can select to buy this adapter if you’d prefer not to
connect through Wi-Fi.
2.
Try moving your Fire TV nearer to your
modem/router.
3.
To limit interference, move your Fire TV away
from your TV or other electronic devices.
4.
Try changing your Wi-Fi channel to the
recommended setting (if prompted**).
Be Sure You Download the New Hulu app on a Fire TV:
INSTALL THE HULU APPLICATION
1.
Choose Search from the top of the main menu
sidebar, and enter "Hulu" (by voice or text)
2.
In the next step, navigate to Apps & Games
to find the Hulu app and access the Download option
3.
The Hulu application will then open on your Apps
page
4.
Now all you have to do is open the app and log
in to get started.
If the above-mentioned fixes don’t work, it may be your
internet speeds. Run a speed test on your internet connection to ensure it’s
moving data fast enough to use Hulu.
